Mother Mary’s Kids (MMK) is a fellowship for children and preteens which gathers every Friday evening for bible studies, fun activities and prayers. MMK was created on March 2012 under the provision and guidance of St. Yohanes Penginjil / Blok B Parish to cater to the english-speaking young children in our area. We welcome children from age 4 – 15 years old and their parents to join our community and ministry. Today, we are very blessed to have about 85 children in MMK, actively participating in our Friday bible study fellowship and serving in St. Yohanes Penginjil Catholic Parish.

Leading the Little Ones to God

Leading Little Ones to God was initiated recently by our Preteens as a fun Bible story-telling, craft and activity session for pre-school children.

Our preteen volunteers to nurture the children to love the Word of God. We believe that young children enjoy a joyful relationship with God and that the pre-school child learns in a different way from his or her older sibling.

Our main objective is thus ‘echoing our faith’ in a fun and joyful way for the young children in Kindergarten and early Primary.

Lessons are drawn from appropriate Catholic faith formation programs. It comprises of interactive story-telling, action songs, games, role-play and art & craft activities. These are seamlessly merged into a curriculum which celebrates important events and catechetical milestones in the liturgical calendar.
